On May 5th, Monroe Elementary School hosted its annual Celebration of Reading event, a day dedicated to fostering a love of literature among our young learners. This year, we were fortunate to welcome several members of the Monroe community who generously volunteered their time to read to our students.
The event featured a delightful variety of children's books, each carefully selected to engage and inspire our students. Our guest readers did a fantastic job of bringing these stories to life, capturing the imaginations of all who were present. The children were not only entertained but also enriched by the valuable lessons embedded in these stories, including themes of teamwork, cooperation, and kindness.
