Monroe Elementary School

We are thrilled to share the excitement of our recent in-school field trip from Mobile Ed Productions to the mobile planetarium! Our gymnasium was transformed into a celestial theater, offering an immersive experience for all K-5 students. This unique educational opportunity allowed students to explore the wonders of our solar system in an interactive and engaging way. Inside the dome, students were taken on a thrilling journey through space, where they learned about each planet's unique characteristics and the fascinating constellations that light up our night sky. The experience was designed to spark curiosity and foster a deeper understanding of astronomy.

The mobile planetarium provided a vivid, 360-degree view of the universe, making complex astronomical concepts accessible and exciting for our young learners. Students delighted in the chance to "travel" from Mercury to Neptune, examining the differences and similarities between each planet. The visit also included a captivating overview of constellations. We are thank the PTO for this enriching experience and are excited to see how it fuels our students' passion for learning about the universe.
