We are thrilled to announce that Monroe Elementary School will be participating in Read Across America Spirit Week during the week of March 3! This exciting week is designed to foster a love of reading among students while having a little fun along the way. Here's a peek at our special themed days for the week:

Monday: Dress as your favorite book character! Let your imagination run wild as you step into the shoes of your favorite literary characters.

Tuesday: Wear your favorite superhero shirt or cape. Reading helps us discover our inner superheroes, so let’s celebrate those who inspire us to be brave and bold!

Wednesday: Wear a shirt with a positive message. Words have power, and this is a great opportunity to spread kindness and positivity throughout our school.

Thursday: Crazy hat, silly socks, or stripes day! Encourage your child to express their creativity and bring some fun to the classroom with their wackiest accessories.

Friday: Wear your favorite PJ's and a bring a book to share with your buddies. This will be a special time for students to bond over stories and share their love of reading.
